CSA payments make creditor repayments unaffordable.
| Debt: £28,000 | Was paying: £850/month |
| Now paying: £400/month | |
| Client has an income £1480 per month, and was able to manage repayments on debts of £28,000 while living with his partner and child. The relationship broke down and the client was still able to afford repayments until CSA demanded over a 3rd of his income. Now unable to keep up with the repayments, debt management is the only option. An IVA is not possible as he has only 2 creditors. He is not a homeowner so can't get an unsecured consolidation loan for such a large amount.

3 Random Q&A's from the database:-
1. What if my circumstances change ?
Because a Debt Management Plan is an informal arrangement, it is easy to change it as your personal circumstances change, and even to replace it with an alternative arrangement if that becomes more appropriate at a later date.2. Will I receive a Default Notice ?
By coming on plan with us, you will be in default on your original credit agreement and your creditor is therefore entitled to send you a Default Notice. Creditors send out Default Notices to protect their own legal position.3. Will the plan prevent my creditors taking further recovery action?
We cannot guarantee that your creditors will not take further action, including court action to recover debts from you but. If they do, we will help you respond so that any repayment that is required is within your ability to repay.[West Midlands] [Ilse of Wight] [Derbyshire] [Kingston upon Hull] [Lothian] [Northhumberland] [Sheffield] [Hertfordshire] [Scotland] [Suffolk] [Berkshire] [Stoke-on-Trent] [Wolverhampton] [Kent] [Gwent] [Merseyside] [Nottingham] [West Yorkshire] [Leicester] [Edinburgh] [Oxfordshire] [Bradford] [Plymouth] [Clwyd] [Hereford and Worcester]
